Dalat to Nha Trang via the mountain route

The most direct motorbike route for Dalat to Nha Trang is the mountain route on the QL27C. Another road that is often said to be the favorite road for travelers in Vietnam.
Around 5 hours of driving, this is a relaxed and easy drive with great oppertunties to take in the beauty. The transition from the mountain city of Dalat to the beach party town of Nha Trang is a big transition in a small space of time. With a small but beautiful drive connecting these two cities the change is scenery is enough to blow most people away.

Dalat to Nha Trang via the coastal route

This is more for the motorbike enthusiast and a little bit longer. Not many people realize, but this is the section of coast that has made Vietnam famous for motorbike coastal driving. Most travelers accidentally skip this section out thinking that the coastal drive is between Ho Chi Minh and Mui Nui. This is incorrect, and the real coastal drive is between Mui Ne and Nha Trang.

This spectacular coastal drive is not hugely long, but is by far the most inspiring in the country. Due to this amazing, quick and rare aspect of coastal driving this route is the one that we recommend over and above the mountain route.

The best part is the area around Vuon Quoc Gia Nu Chua national park, however if you want to get the maximum coast in as possible then throw in the loop down below Phan Rang as well.
By the end of this drive we will have covered the best motorbiking coastal road in Vietnam.

Just did the coastal ride yesterday.

Thanks for the advice. Was going to head back down from Dalat via the mountain road but glad I didn’t.

Even thought it was more fun through the twisties on the coastal route compared.

Thanks for the right up. Also good food and beers at the Cuban bar and grill
