Honda CB 350 H’ness
Tigit has just purchased the bike (Dec 21st, 2024) and is waiting for Tigit Jon to test drive it and make some video content. However, you can book it now if you like! The bike will be equipped with side boxes (not sure on the size yet), and a rear rack.
Why did Jon choose the CB 350 H’ness
Tigit currently has a gap between 150cc (Honda XR 150) and 500cc (Honda CB 500). We sold off all our CRF 250L’s because they were not reliable enough for long distance rentals. We have videos explaining our struggles with the Honda CRF 250L over long distances and for offroad tours.
Through lots of experience running long-distance motorbike rentals and watching riders of all levels destroy motorbikes on different terrains, I have become convinced we needed to look for air-cooled motorbikes, not liquid-cooled.
I am also taking inspiration from places like Kashmir and India, where people do long-distance rides on Royal Enfield Bullets (not big adventure motorbikes). There is method and logic to the concept of an old classic-styled air-cooled motorbike. In the end they are simple and just work. We don’t need lots of gadgets and electronics on a motorbike! We just need something that will move from A to B and hopefully in style!
The Honda CB 350 H’ness is going to be extremely reliable whilst also making a beautiful thumping noise from a low-tuned engine. I am extremely excited to give this motorbike a proper test ride, and I have a feeling, in reality, it will be a much better option for Vietnam than the bigger and heavier ADV bikes out there.
Hi
I’m looking for four bikes 150-250cc, travelling 18 Sept to 3 Oct 2020, from Saigon to Hanoi and leaving the bikes in Hanoi. Is this possible?
Can you please give me an estimate of cost?
This is possible, but all bookings are now handled through bookings@tigitmotorbikes.com or preferably use the website quoting system.
