Whilst not cheap, Rok Straps do speed up the racking process for your bags each day. Once set up, you can clip/unclip them, meaning you don't have to fiddle around with bungees each time.
They also completely lock your luggage in place, so there isn't any slipping. Bungees tend to stretch, and it doesn't matter how good you are with a bungee cord; the bag will eventually start to move around.
A completely optional item for your motorbike journey, but a very nice luxury item to have!
Personally, I think the medium size is fine, but up to you!

Small = Light Duty (Max 720mm)
Medium = Medium Duty (Max 1060mm)
Large = Heavy Duty (Max 1500mm)
